These Pop-up Ads Are Infuriating!

Currently there are 5 concurrent ads while I type this. I get the site needs revenue, but 5?
 
Guys, I use "Adblock Plus" and never get any pop ups on my computer. On my iPhone I use "Crystal" ad blocker. I never get any pop ups there either.

It may be the browser not the site tossing the pop ups.

And both are free.
 
This is my problem every time you click on a topic you have to delete this….. both my iPhone and iPad I rarely use my laptop….. the full screen ads started a couple of days ago …… the header, footer ads started a month or more ago

Wow! Thought it was just me and my sponsorship issue.

I shouldn't have deleted the original post, which was pretty harsh, since it seems to apply regardless of status.
 
These ads are annoying me too....I come to CSR to escape this kind of crap. It would be nice if CSR admin chimes in with an update.......If this keeps up, no sponsorship from me in the future.
 
I just re-upped for a year but only to Silver this time. Not sure if that makes a difference with the number of ads or not. If the ads continue then I'm definitely not renewing in the future.

It's unfortunate because CSR has been, hands down, my favorite site out of all of my hobbies.
 
Guys you need to use ADBLOCK PLUS It's free and stops all of this.

Draw back is some user posted links will not work and will take you somewhere else at times.

This happens like once a year. I always mention Adblock Plus and Crystal. Seems like no one wants to try that advice.
 
I find it annoying too but this site surely doesn't run for free.

I doubt our donations are enough to keep this place running, especially with all you ding dongs flooding that fricken bikini thread with high res photos every 6 seconds of every day :)

Seems that way, but it really works well. Haven't looked for anything for my phone yet. But I rarely use my phone for CSR but also have Android.
