Keep Track of Rising Prices

Thought I would kick this thread in the butt, $3.39 for auto regular, premium is $4.49. Marina non ethanol 89 is $4.99 with .60 off if your a year round slip member as we are. I can’t even remember what car gas was before the craziness, I think we were sub $3 like $2.75
 
Are we celebrating lower prices? My mantra is “Don’t let the Libtards change the psychology. Anything over $2.00 is New Green Deal shoot yourself in the face lunacy. Ban me. Ignore me. I don’t give a FUCK anymore. This dumbass we have in the White House is the problem. If you want an Economics lesson, I’m happy to give you one. If you’re like a Gen X, then you’re on your own.

I thought fuel prices were on the way down a month ago. At Sam's Club here in Nor Cal I paid $4.89 from a high as I recall of $5.69 at the peak. Yesterday I paid $5.29 again! I am preparing to get used to paying $5.00 on average for gas and $6.00 for diesel into the future. Just like in Europe, fuel prices have been held at an artificial level by taxation as a way to restrict the transportation industry way before the Climate Change industry was dreamt of. Here in the Republic of Kalifornication we will pay another 1 to 2 bucks a gallon in an attempt to push drivers into EVs, bicycles, Bullet (Choo Choo) trains and other forms of mass transit. The government will also be punishing people that choose to live up in the hills and forests by increasing building permit fees and further regulate building to make it unaffordable. They want us all to live in high rise buildings in the city we work in like the enlightened Europeans and Chinese do.

$6.09 I paid at Sam's club today for unleaded regular. Many stations around town are charging 6.89. Supposedly several major refiners are off line for scheduled MX so once they come back online making winter blend, the prices should come down a bit but by then with OPEC+ cutting production who knows? One benefit to my selling to boat is I won't be driving 200 miles a month making the 30 mile round trip to the boat. I may be running fuel thru a new Diesel pusher instead though.
 
Oddly earlier this week I was across the Ohio line getting gas where it is about .60/gallon cheaper. Over here it was about 3.99 for regular and something like 4.59 for diesel. In Ohio it was 3.39 or so for regular but 4.99 for diesel. So much larger spread between regular and diesel across the line
 
Last fill up for the season, $5.39 for diesel (including my 10ct/gal discount woohoo)
Marina across from us, $6.05 for diesel
 
I got some diesel Saturday at the home marina, I meant to check the price. As I gave the girl a $20 tip for 60 gallons I thought to myself: I just gave her .33 cents/gallon - why do I think about the cost of diesel? ;) I wanted to get a pump out, all I had was 20s, pump was broken, of course.

lower prices my foot a 30 foot sea ray has gone up over a 100k in 3 years

Auto reg 3.17, premium 3.99 Jag is spoiled, diesel 5.99
Marina 89 non-ethonal 5.35, members get .60 off. They don’t sell diesel so can’t comment. Marina manager told me new policy starts Feb 01, members get it for what it goes into the tanks at which right now is 4.25

news keeps saying how gas prices have dropped by .xx amount in the past 2 months and say it's almost back to where it was when the Ukraine war started. They keep referencing the Ukraine war but skip over the $2 jump the day Biden was sworn in
