I am not a political person. I am a registered Independent. This posting is not a political post. I understand the rules of this forum. This post is just a glimpse of the underlying thought process of the hard-lined pro-choice people. I will not post a link to the article, if you want to read it, you will have to search for it. (Using DuckDuckGo, preferably.)
As people all over the continent, and world, with whom I share a common interest and passion, I want to share this article with you.
Read how de-humanizing and utterly morally deficient this writer is concerning abortion. That is not my opinion - it is the writer’s written word. I can make this statement about her without fear of angering her (not worried anyway), because, obviously, she is very comfortable with her views on the destruction of a living child in the womb.
I believe a person can be pro-choice and still have compassion for the unborn and view the choice as a necessary evil or one that the woman will just live with. My personal view on this issue is irrelevant to my point in this post. The views of this writer are hard for me to understand, as a human, and what I thought was a higher form of life.
The article is from June 22, 2022 published by Sophie Lewis titled, “Abortion Involves Killing - And That’s OK” in the The Nation publication.
As I read the article, I can hear possible echoes of the discussion of the fate of little Jewish kids in the Nazi death camps. I find it difficult to separate the two.
I may be way off, but this disturbs me. As we struggle to keep our country on the correct path, understand the mind of the hard-left.
