Cars, trucks - Favorites past or present

This was a tube chassis 1967 Chevy ll. Had a 572 and then a 540. Never got it running right on the strip. View attachment 115044 View attachment 115045
Had one of those too. '66 Chevy II. Traded a truck for it then drove it to a buddies in Pittsburgh that night. Next day tore it all apart and never finished it. That buddy had a Ford EXP with a 509 BBC that ran 9's on street tires and through the mufflers. I used to hang out with a few guys that ran the Hot Rod fastest street car in America tour back in the early 90's (Kenny Anderson in his powder blue 79 Malibu that ran 7's). I bought an Alston tube chassis for the car then it went as part of the trade deal for my '57. Don't think I have any pics of the Chevy II though.
Here is the '57>

Spot, the '69 white sportsroof

Jade- the green '69 'vert. 351W/2bbl/FMX, a nice ride.

And a project 2dr formal top, needs paint and interior, 351W/4bbl/FMX, runs perfect.

I think I will stop now...

Maybe not

Wifeys 2019 Trail Boss with most of the same mods.

But this one sits above it shedding fluids from time to time

Of all the daily drivers I've owned to this point in my life I've never been more pleased than I am with this truck. Assuming the fenders don't rust out like my last GMC Sierra I just might keep this one to 200,000 miles...

Now, that's a pretty cool trick that you can get that truck to float like that!

You already saw the others in the username thread, so here's a couple more.

2018 Mustang 2.3L turbo (Ecoboost). That is one crazy car to drive! The thing acts like a big block for torque, but is almost neutral-balanced due to the light engine up front. And, 27mpg to work and back. There's quite a bit of history to the gray car. If you're so inclined, you can read about it here: Here it is next to a work-mates red convertible:

Spot's a badass ride, even though it's a bit ratty on the outside, I put a new interior in around '04 and just drive the hell out of it...couple "laying drag" warnings back then..
