I thought it would be nice to have a thread dedicated to quality products that actually do what they say they are going to do.

I have found the following procucts to be a good value in price and performance.

Aerospace 303 protectant- works well for me to maintain vinyl seating and rubberized parts including grab handles and hoses--- as well as bellows. Spray it on and wipe gently. Leaves stuff supple and lasting longer.

West Marine Bilge Cleaner Concentrate- removes grease and oil very well. I soak the surface, let it set and carefully wipe away.

Proline winches- very high quality and withstands abuse. Extremely durable.

Kwik-Loc boat buckle transom tie downs- very affodable and work really well. Easy to use and protects the transom too. They look very nice as well. Velcro protective strap cover is a nice feature.

Marine 31 Mildew Remover for cockpit upholstery. Rinse, spray on, walk away, rinse, spray a protectant.
Mostly bleach of some sort, but a pixie dust that doesn't rot stitching, or dry out the fabric.

Hands down, Boat Cleaner Pro. I have used it to clean and restore so many areas of my boat and dinghy. My shore power cable for example went from a grungy eyesore to virtually new without any scrubbing. Just keep the rag moist and it wipes clean. I recently used it on my dull gel “Four Fifty” script. The BCP removed the top layer of the gel and really made the gold pop.

Do you need to protect somehow after using this pro cleaner? Sounds amazing

When it comes into contact with fiberglass or say vinyl, after the area is clean I spray a little water on it to rinse and follow up with wax on fiberglass or 303 on the vinyl. I learned about the product here on CSR over in the dinghy section. Can you tell from this picture which one was cleaned with BCP? :D

How long is the “walk away” part? I can’t get anything to remove the black spots on my vinyl.

What do you use for that wax when needed?
I just use a little McGuires marine spray wax.
@jmauld: No walk away time with the BCP. I use a clean microfiber towel with the BCP and the black marks wipe clean. I also found the ladies on the boat tend to leave their toenail polish on the vinyl and fiberglass. Again the BCP to the rescue!

The only negative I have found is the chemical smell left on the rag/towel is fairly pungent.

Boat erasers. I really doubted they would work on this black streak from a fender. H/D compound and a machine did nothing. 30 secs with the boat eraser and it's gone:

After seeing many good reviews on here, I now have it in my garage. Haven't used it yet.

303 - both fabric and vinyl protectant.
Buff Magic Compound / Polish
Meguiars Flagship - wax
Star Brite Cleaner Wax
* have tried about every wax and these are my favorites.
Meguiars Spray Wax / Spray detailer - a quick spray down really makes the big wax job last. I also use it on my stainless - Bimini railings etc.
Spray Nine - clean about anything - I use it mainly on seats and fenders, follow up with 303.

Obviously that pic wasn’t taken in the Chesapeake!

I won’t repeat what others have said on here, so I’ll add to the list.

1. Starbright Deck Cleaner w/PTEF

2.Woody’s Wax

3. SwimPlatforms.com for a swim platform if you don’t have one.

4. SeaDek to cover holes on decks and platforms as well as add to looks.

5. )Personal preference ) Infinity Woven carpet - get rid of the original musty snap in carpet.

6. Flounder Pounder EIM replacement.

Here's the latest thing I did. My Sea Doo Explorer sat in the weather in Huntsville for over a year (thanks COVID!) with no cover. When I got there last month I decided to clean her up and move it out.
This walk away is about 5 minutes. On really bad stuff, I have done 2 applications a day apart, waiting about 5-10 minutes.
