Hi, sorry for the delayed response. I spoke with David last fall. He was very helpful. About $1400 for the front isinglass. Didn’t pull the trigger although I wish I had. Plan on ordering it to be made this week. He said it takes about 6 weeks in total.Interested in what you found out about the isinglass
About 0.85 to 0.95 mpg at 29-31 mph depending on what sea chop is. Higher chop lower mpg.Can a few people please tell me what fuel burn on the Venture, in gal per hour, they are getting with 300 verados at 30 mph. around 5000 rpm.
Check coolant and seawater pumpsHi,
Having an issue with my generator and wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions:
Boat - 2103 370 SeaRay Venture
Generator - Kohler 5EKD
Serial - SGM325F7K
Bought the boat last July and the generator worked perfectly until about October. That is when this issue of it shutting down immediately after starting began.
Generator cranks, starts and then shuts down immediately leaving me with a check engine fault.
So far I have changed the fuel solenoid valve, both fuel pumps in the generator and replaced the CO detector in the cabin.
Before doing all of the things above I was getting an AUX error code. Now I am getting a Check engine fault code.
any help or suggestions would be appreciated
Was that for all 6 front panels?Hi, sorry for the delayed response. I spoke with David last fall. He was very helpful. About $1400 for the front isinglass. Didn’t pull the trigger although I wish I had. Plan on ordering it to be made this week. He said it takes about 6 weeks in total.
Yes, that was for the panels on the front windshield. It was another ~$700 for the side panels (not each for both)Was that for all 6 front panels?
Coolant is good, screens are clean and fuses are good. Hopefully not an $8k job coming my wayCheck coolant and seawater pumps
Before Kohler stopped making gasoline generators, you could buy a new replacement for less than that. Now the Westerbenke 5KW is $14kCoolant is good, screens are clean and fuses are good. Hopefully not an $8k job coming my way
Found on Amazon:Does anyone know what the replacement bulbs are for the mast light on our 370 Ventures?
Looking for help -
Hopped on the boat to take a family member for an inaugural ride and no power to engines.
Went below turned both ignition keys and no sound(beep) as I am accustomed to. Came up to the helm and all accessories work (windlass, lights, all Battery accessories like stereo etc all work). Trim from the helm, start engines don't work. Trim from the engine well does work.
As I mentioned in an earlier post I am having issues with the generator. The only thing I've done between last week (engines ran fine) and today is I took the cover off of the generator and unplugged the adapter in the back of the generator to see if it would run without the CO and Fire suppression auto shut downs. I have since reconnected that adapter.
my initial thought was a kill switch that I inadvertently hit but I cannot find one anywhere.
any thoughts?
check master fuse panel under captain's seat?
check battery voltage?
Yes there is something wrong on the charger. Should be close to 13v. Look in your charger operator manual and be sure it is actually ON and set up for the batteries you have. I assume they are AGM. They require a different charging profile than flooded batteries.Thanks. The battery charger has been on for days and it reads 12.3v with no output. All green lights but the voltage seems low to me as I think it should charge the AGMs over 13v. I know the DTS is finicky with regard to voltage so I am thinking this might be the issue. Just can't figure out why the charger isn't kicking out amps to the batteries if they are only at 12.3
