I have White covers for them both so they get covered when not on the boat or if we have people on the boat we can’t trust to scratch them (my daughters friends). The cover that Global Shipwrights provided is much nicer than the one I had for the original table but they both serve the same purpose, keep sun and spray off and prevent scratches.Jeremy:
The tables look great. A couple questions. Do you have to put them inside when not in use?
Does the flooring hold water after a rain? Does it get hot in the sun?
The flooring does hold some water but not too bad. When I soak it washing down after a wet ride It takes 24hrs to be completely dry. It is mostly dry after a few hours. I went with a very light color so it only gets hot in the strongest sun and it is still walkable but on the hotter side. Not to the point where to are tip toeing across it. The only thing I would do instead of this would be real teak. The nuteak and other products like that just get too hot in the sun for me. I have friends with all shades of colors and they get hot IMO.
