Looks good. You will like the shackles. Very easy to get the dingy on and off. Add some high strength line and a t-handle to the pull ring on the release pin so that you can have something to grab to release the quick couplers in case of an emergency. This is what I put on mine.

I have white pin striping on dark blue front to rear on the bow sun pad that is currently at home stored away for the winter. Just looked and don’t have a single picture in my file but love it.

Our rear cock pit seat like the one above has a dark blue cover over the seat & back rest that never comes off. The fabric cover is so much more comfortable to sit on over the vinyl cushions which tends to get hot & somewhat wet feeling. Besides that the seats underneath look like brand new on a 14 year old gal!

like your tie down set up, can you tell me where you got them or send me a copy/picture of the invoice so I can contact them. Currently has straps but need to up grade to your set up!

I had them made at West Marine's rigging shop. I measured the lengths, bought stainless cable and the turnbuckles, and they crimped them using a hydraulic press.

I bought everything online but it could all be purchased at West Marine as well. My tie downs didn’t need to be long so I only have the snap shackles (I am not completely sure this is the correct size but when you look at them in person you will know the correct size.

And stainless turn buckles

the T handle and lines I used for the quick release handles I can’t find on the West Marine site right now but it was in the sailing section in hardware where all the sail blocks and shackle rigging are.

The setup works great and allows me to get the dingy off in about 20 seconds if there was an emergency.

Where did you buy the T handles?

Anyone else have a crane for the tender? Where is the fluid reservoir? I found some fluid on the base last weekend and am trying to locate the source of the leak. Mike

The pump for the davit is located under the swim platform on the “shelf” in the engine room on the port side. There is a black cap that you remove. Fill until it’s 3/4” from the top.
You should be able to find the leak fairly easily by operating the unit. Also, check your manual for the type of oil to use and the various manufacturers.

I'll have to wait until spring to operate it. But I can at least check the fluid level. Thanks for the help Cod. Mike

My OE TV’s were all connected to 120volts only. In our last boat of the same era 2007/08 they were the same but I removed the 120v plug and tied the new TV’s into 12volts.

When I replaced the TV’s on my 52 I didn’t pay attention if they were 12v with a 120volt Transformer. My plan is to either run the Gen, use an Inverter or better yet enjoy the natural view when off the Grid/Gen...

One more upgrade completed. The cockpit and bridge lights were incandescent from the factory. I found a white/blue led bulb that fit the fixture but I never loved the level of light they put out. The factory lights are an oddball sized Light from an Italian company that I couldn’t find a good quality LED to fill the space so I decided to retrofit the housing to fit a Lumitec Mirage white/red/blue light.
First I was going to drill the 2” hole in the glass lens and put a glass edged Mirage light in that space. I tried one but it shattered as I was drilling it because they are tempered glass lenses. I tried to get a glass company to make what I needed but no one could find the 1/8” frosted glass needed to fit the housing.
I ended up buying 1/8 white acrylic from boat outfitters and made my own discs to fit in the housing and lights. Here is the end result. Much brighter light and looks fine. The disk is a little more white than the fiberglass so it stands out a bit but I am going to live with it for now and see if it bothers me this season. If it does then I will paint or wrap the disks with a color that more matches the fiberglass. Last pic is the original look to the light.

Jeremy, if possible, post a pic at night, or let us know what kind of output you get in the dark. I'd love the red to not attract bugs. Mike
