I added a strap to hold up the ladder to get access to the AC pump and transmissions. Saves time from removing the ladderTwo web straps screwed to the engine room ceiling (lazarrate) with snaps built in are a great way to hang fishing rods.
And on bugs...I thought we called those May Flies here in MI? Hmm.
+1 for the blower. I have the Worx blower, it also has an adapter for inflating and deflating float toys. This is a battery powered rechargeable blower BGA45. I bought it a few years ago to blow off fish flys when we were in a covered slip. Three years later it is a permanent tool on the boat and used all the time. The black nozzle is a quick disconnect and the two pieces fit any where
We blow out the cockpit and dash instead of vacuuming

and I thought I was the one doing this!Water-weld the last sliver of soap to the top of the new bar.
Jim, do a search on here for threads with the word "stingy" in them. You'll find a thread on places where you are stingy. It's a great read..and I thought I was the one doing this!
- When filling your water tank, let the water run for a minute to flush out the old moldy water before inserting the nozzle.
- Never use a rubber garden hose to fill your fresh water tank.
- Never leave city-water connected to your boat when you are away from it.
I don't know why....but when someone tells me to "never" do something I have this urge to immediately go do it.
If only I had a garden hose within reach. I'd go take a drink from it right now
Fair enough. I should probably have said "ill-advised". I filled my tank from a rubber hose once, and the rubbery smell was horrible and made my coffee taste like crap. I had to cycle it 3 times with a bleach mixture to get rid of it. Maybe I have more delicate sensibilities
I use my tank water all the time. The key is to keep it clean, maintain it, and use the water regularly."Never drink water from that tank". I was told that by the marina owner I bought my first cruiser from.
