Finally addressed a factory annoyance..
You can’t turn on the light in the head with out turning on all the other lights around the cabin..... so if one needs to use the bathroom at night lights come on everywhere or your in the dark...
So randomly found the access panel behind the mirror in the head...this gave me an idea.. and I capitalized.
Ran a single wire from the head light, over top of head and down the wall behind the power panel, and into the switch panel on left side of counter.
The head light is now powered off the fan switch power supply side. Both fan switches work as normal. And the head light works alone by switch inside head..
So the breaker for the fan... poop/gally if off the head light is not powered/ can’t be left on. But in general when I first get to the boat I turn on the fan switch and some others.. but no more bathroom light = wake everyone
This sounds like the right way to do it. When I had my 340 I went the "three minute project" route and mounted a "push light" on the wall next to the head. It looked OEM when it was on the wall! Super cheap...super easy.
