Have been trying to troubleshoot this issue for a while now and have had no success. My wireless remote for the GHS platform only works to raise the platform but not to lower. It doesn't even try. The wired controller works without issue but it would make life so much easier when I'm single handing the platform. Have called GHS and have replaced the fob with no luck. Has anyone else come across this issue or have any ideas as to possible solutions?

Very liittle tech info on their site.
Do you have an owners manual with any schematic or wiring diagrams?
Installation guide?
A wireless control is usually an add on receiver/controller box in parallel with the wired controls.
Solid state or mechanical relays linked to the up and down functions.
Check all the plugs for full insertion and good connection?

Can you reprogram the remote like a garage door opener.
Maybe it lost its program.
What are you doing with the platform now, it’s winter ?

Yes there is a controller box. Will see if i can find the schematic and post here.
We winter in the water so now i have time to tick of those annoying "not working" items on the list. Yes have reprogramed the old and new remote with no luck.

I'm surprised GHS hasn't been more helpful. When I had an issue with my wired remote, they gave me detailed debugging steps.

Does yours make any noise at all when you press down on the remote?
Ours was always "super glitchy" especially when going down, and one day looking at the control box I realized it had an antenna similar to our garage door opener but all rolled up. Un-rolled it, and it's worked great ever since.

i had the same problem had to click 2 times on remote
Interesting. Not sure if I tried a double tap.
Nothing at all, no clicking of the solenoid or beeping.
Spent about 30 mins on the phone with them. Last step was to try a new remote which wasn’t it. They mentioned replacement of the control board but I think that is like $700-800. Doesn’t bother me enough to drop that coin for the board but I’m not sold on that being the issue.

I should have been more specific rather than just saying "super glitchy". Prior to uncoiling the antenna I would have to hit the down button and hold 3 to 4 times in succession before it would un-latch and begin to move. Then it would often times stop more than once on the way down. Maybe not your issue, but thought I'd mention it just in case.
I’m probably stating the obvious, but when I had GHS lifts, the down procedure was always to hold the down button for several seconds until I heard the hydraulics engage. Take finger off button and then press again for it to move down.
A possible point of failure is the wired connection between the receiver and the control board. A loose or corroded wire could cause this condition.

Yes, I believe that is their safety for the down function. Planning on digging through the wire bundle again to see if I can verify each connection but was hoping this was a common issue and a quick fix.
