Winterizing Zeus pods, do you drop them?

Hey guys,

My marina likes to lower my Zeus pods every winter to anti foul the intake crates. And it cost a small fortune by the time they’re back on.

Just wondering if everyone else does this, or if it’s a little over kill? My last Zeus boat, the pods never came off.
