Tempereature Gauge stopped working

I have a 2002 Searay 270 Sundancer with a 6.2 Merc. Temp gauge was working fine. Put in boat about a year ago. Stopped working. Replaced sender and temp gauge still didn't work. Replaced Temp Gauge with new one and still nothing. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

First check, see if the gauge has power. If no power, trace back to the power source.
