When I flush my engine with the muffs, I notice a slight rusty color in the water after 5 to 10 minutes. I assume the rust comes out after the thermostat opens up and starts circulating water from the block:huh:. You can't tell by looking at the exhaust water but from the stain left on the concrete. Is this normal?

I flush my engine with Salt-Away, available at West Marine. It neutralizes the salt and leaves a protective barrier. After flushing the engine I rinse the boat and trailer with it, especially the hubs and wheel studs. Had the original manifolds on a 7 year old 350 Bravo MAG and they were still going when I sold the boat.
