On my boat the breaker is under the helm seat...

If that circuit breaker was tripped there is a little lever under the bulge in the cover that pops out across the cover. Press it back under the cover to reset. On this model there is no trip button which would be a red button on top of the cover. The series 185 have that trip button. If you are not getting voltage/current across it then it appears to have failed.
Replace with a 185 series so you can trip and test it.

Problem is with the Deisel , I cant get my fat ass in their very close... So I have to grab randomly behind engine to reset.
Do these breakers pull out...? push down? There are no instructions on any manual on the exact procedure to reset( blindly) ie' Ican feel in the area but cant not get my head around to see as I reach.....
Thoughts.

Did you connect the other lead of the meter to a known-good ground?

If you really do have 0 voltage, the supply lead is no longer attached to it's power source (likely a battery switch)... or the supply lead is completely severed somewhere.

I'm pretty versed in electric
Just to be clear no other hidden fuses?
Since you're comfortable with electric, you might want to trace things in your wiring diagrams. If you don't have your original owner's manual, you can download it from Sea Ray's site - there are excellent wiring diagrams in there.

It would not make electrical sense to have another high-amperage breaker in the line before your 100amp.

Thanks // your right... I 70 amp in front of a hundred is something an EE would lose sleep over. TO the immediat right of windless 100 BUSScb184f is a 50 amp BUSS "converter" labeled.... Waterproof cb184f .
That has power to ground. The windless does not. I have to look for some disconnect that I may not be familiar with that
mya be aftermarket.
Thanks

Post a pic of the "converter" - that may be the windlass latching solenoid?... but I'm confused as to the "50 amp BUSS" statement part of that. The converter/solenoid does have small fuses - but that's still AFTER the breaker and I think they're only about 5amp.

What do you mean by "the windlass does not"... I thought we were talking about the 100amp breaker?

FIRST step is figure out why you don't have power TO the breaker.

Did you look at the wiring diagram? That should be VERY helpful.

A new Switch was added by my generator tank valves that was the cause of my anchor the switch . It was turned off . It is a disconnect for the generator batteries while you're anchoring out has two batteries connected to it. Thank you for saying what is that other switch now I know
