Where have all the 320 dancer owners went too, there used to be alot of us on SRO. Come on people shout out and be heard!!! :smt038
Nah, I mounted the controller behind the lower center dash panel. The only thing in the bilge for me on that drawing is the existing smart craft data cables. Sorry if this was unclear. This was all really pretty easy to get to and install. All my NMEA 2000 stuff is behind the dash panels or below the dash which is accessed by the hatch near the drivers feet.Ok, That is what I am talking about! Now, I see the VV Dispaly and Controller are both connected to the Netwrok? How is the Controller connected since it is in the bilge and more than 6 ft of cable????
Now my head is starting to hurt,,,,
Boat decal questions...
We are renaming our boat this spring. But it's under plastic and I can't get to the back area. So a couple questions for the group and maybe for someone who's isn't under plastic if they could take or have a measurement for me...
First, was is the measurement for the aft locker cover? This is where previous decal was but not sure how big I can order. Although may go bigger and just cut away for the locker. Any sizes people have used would be great. Our name will be Golden Daze and have a logo with a Golden Retriever and a sun that we also want to use.
Second, does anyone have a good vendor for transfer decals they recommend? We tried doing it at end of last season but ordered the wrong type of stickers and it didn't work well. So now reordering.
Thanks for any help!! Can't wait for May to get it back in the water.
We are in that process too. Here are the measurements I sent to the vendor. hope this helps. we used Islandboatlettering.com to order our decals from as they do custom stuff. We met them at the St. Pete Boat sShow and were impressed with them. They did an excellent job matching the color and font for us.

Just being 3 x as helpful.Sorry, I don't know what is going on with my Computer. Didn't mean to post 3 times.
Check the bolts that attach the hand rail stanchion's to the deck. Remove each one and coat them with 3M 4200 and reinstall wet. Its a project but should solve the issue. So im still searching for the leak up in the corner by the speaker that started this whole process. I went down on Sat caulkin hand and applied where I think issues may be, rubrail mostly and hatch screws. I looked in anchor locker and I think i see part of the path the water is taking. It runs down the starboard side of locker at the very top, and goes down behind the bulkhead board in there separating the locker from Vberth. But where is the source, from that angle, it could be the hatch but why wouldnt it be dripping on the bed. Its not the cleat, thats dry.
We have a 03 with 350's MAG's and V-Drives. In the 03, you get basic Smartcraft but no display. The 320 with 350 Mag's is fine, but not a speed demon by any means. Make sure your gauges all work. We had to replace all of ours. All of our kidney pads are still working but they can be an issue as well. In our 6 seasons of ownership, we have replaced both fridges and the A/C unit. I still want to upgrade all my outdated electronics, but waiting for the market to recover some.questions about 320 Sundancers in the generation that includes models in 2003-2007. we have been looking at a number of different years in this generation of 320 to buy. right now looking at a 2003 with V-Drives and 5.7 liter engines, please send your comments and opinions about differences, pros and cons between a 2003 vs later years and the 5.7 vs other engines. Thanks!!!!
I don’t care for the layout of the new 320s. I chose mine for the dedicated v berth & no carpet. I’d think the bow rider on the new models would reduce headroom in the cabin & the oven is by the steps if I recall - doesn’t seem very ergonomic.Out of curiosity - Has anyone gone from the 2003-2007 model to the 2019-current 320DA's?
We love our older 320, but the way WE use the boat, the "bowrider" feel, the joystick docking, the middle console access to the bow, etc, all feel like they were created just for us. I know that eventually we'll have to get something newer. Cost aside, is going from 320 to 320 an obvious path?
If so, what do you like LESS about the newer model? Also, did you go inboard or outboard, and why?
Thx
Whoops didn’t mean to “Like” your post, I’ve had days like that too and feel your pain (I’m sure we all have).Expensive Day! (Rant) Took the boat out yesterday to Egmont Key and everything going great! We get ready to anchor, I always test my windlass before I get into position as there are always a lot of othe boats. Windlass goes down and I then brought it back up into the roller and SNAP! The Anchor drops into about 25 ft! I get up on the bow to look and the bolt inside the swivel had sheared.... Never seen that before! Grabbed the Spare out of the stern and went ahead and got settled in for the day.
We are out behind the boat talking with the boat next to us and I hear the bilge go off. No big deal until it goes off again about 5 minutes later. Back on the boat and open the hatch to discover the port engine water pump is leaking... ARGGH!
Even after all of that, We had a great day! This week will be spent getting ready for next weekend!
