I found the underwater lights but didn’t realize the other switch did anything. Do you mean for SmartCraft gps/etc? Would be helpful to know if I’m not getting all of the info I could but my depth/temp transducer works without that switch. My Raymarine unit powers up separately obviously. On my boat, Acc 1 is for GPS and depth instruments. Acc 2 is the underwater lights. If not working, check resettable fuse on the box in the access panel under the helm.
It gets warm but not hot.I tried searching this question but couldn’t find it. I have a 2000 290sd and it looks like there is a wood holder for the outside table. Would it get too hot in the engine bay to keep it there while running. I wouldn’t think there would be any issues or I doubt they would have put that there but the cup holders are plastic. Maybe I just need to remove those of I store it down there while we are underway. Anyone have any issues with theirs?
Get in there with a little shop vac and suck it out and watch to see where the water is coming from.Hey all,
Took the boat down to Powell for a 5 day trip and had small amounts of water in the bilge throughout the day. I would pump probably 3 gallons out 2 or 3 times throughout the day. I just replaced the shift cable bellows on the Starboard side and all of the other bellows look good on visual inspection. This i my first time owning a boat of this size with twins, but I am used to a dry bilge. Any ideas of where to start looking?
Thanks
