Are there any immediate suggestions from the admins that you can share? Just starting to wander through the new site...

 

One question I have is that I no longer see the ability to edit a post. I'm a stickler for spelling/grammar (my own) and would love the ability to edit in case I make a mistake that I missed prior to posting - or to add more information to my post without cluttering the site with multiple posts. Also, I no longer see the sponsorship level as we used to see. I feel that seeing that sponsorship level encouraged sponsoring at a high level if it appears on your profile that appears on each post. Is there something we need to do to edit that?

 

When logged in, I see an Edit : Report link at the bottom left hand corner of all my posts.

 

Strange - I'm not seeing that at all and I'm definitely logged in.

 

 

That's so odd. I definitely don't have those links and I am a Platinum member so it's not because I don't support CSR!

I clicked on ACCOUNT wayyyyyyy in the upper right corner of the site and it says I don't have access. I am signed in. Also wondering if I lost my Silver Member status (?)

I get the same thing trying to access the "account". Using my iPad. I'll try using the complicator later and see if it's a mobile access problem.

 

Your ads aren't showing up. They are just boxes with the banner size (e.g. 160x600). Probably want to get that fixed if you want to get paid.

 

There also isn't an icon for threads that you have replied too. (like the previous green dot)

 

There is a smaller image of my avatar on threads I have replied to.

 

if a thread has more than one page you can hold the pointer over the title of the thread and the number of pages will show up under the title....then you can click on the last page to go directly to that page when you open the thread.....

Editing, Donation Status, your Sea Ray info & pic, would be nice as others mentioned. Otherwise I like the change - easier to read.

May have an issue with the Tapatalk app.

 

I could be wrong but I don't believe there is a plug in for this new forum software that works with the Tapatalk app. I am finding that running the site native on my phone browser is pretty good. I just put a short cut to the new posts on my home screen.

 

Tapatalk is not working. Is that no longer an option ?

 

Used upload a file to add image, seemed to work using the website pretty easy. Will try to edit afterwards, tapatalk not working, so going to try and use website.

One of the first things I look for when logging in is the "Alerts" section for a red flag. The red flag is great for letting you know when another poster had copied you post and commented or if someone "likes" your post, and other alerts of fellow CSR member communications. Nice feature!

 

Has anyone found a way to display the last post first in the sort order?

 

once you read a thread the next time you open it the last post will automatically show and the post you have not read will have 'NEW' in the top right hand corner....

Me too^^. It used to be there. That's how I created my signature. Now it's gone and has been for a while.

 

My signature setting is exactly where Boater420 described.

 

Using Chrome at PC

 

I have checked it with IE and Chrome, not there for me either, just tried in Firefox, Signature is not there either. The first 2 items are not there, "Personal Details and Signature" are both missing.

 

Using Chrome also... very odd that it's there for some and not for others.

There are about a million radio buttons I need to configure in the background for all the various permissions and things that need to happen on the site. Most of it was supposed to transfer fine, but there are some things like this that were missed. I won't know what we're missing until you all report it, so please keep reporting.
