I was pulling out of the slip to trailer my boat when a dude in a power boat cuts me off coming straight into the dock to drop someone off. I veer to the port and got to close to the shore. Prop whacked a rock and tore a blade really bad. The jerk never stopped to see what he did. By the time a got Old Skool trailered his buddy couldn't be found. :smt021

I need a 15X21 three blades aluminum. Won't use Stainless Steel as I would be replacing the lower shaft of worse if I had one one during this event. Let me know if you can part with one and how much.
Thanks.

No way that boat (SRV 220)has a 5" diameter prop...... Stock prop was 15 x 21p for that model with 188 Merc......
Right you are KnotEasy. Typo has been corrected.

Welcome back,
Try these guys they've been in business 30 plus years I've bought 2 props from them Gofirstclass had his props tuned at their Seattle shop. I stuck aluminum also rather replace a prop than a drive or coupler.

Bob, I searched their site but came up blank for the 5X21 prop. I'll give them a call and see what they have. Pricing looks very good on all their props.

Smart move to stick with aluminum and avoid the stainless. Around here the repairs shops regard stainless props as business inducement tools. When you hit something hard with a stainless prop it's usually the drive train that goes.

Sorry about the jerk who almost hit you. July 4th seems to be jerk day on the water because it's the day when the once a year boaters come out.
My buddy made the mistake of staying on the lake 1/2 more than me and ended up waiting for 2 hours to trailer. As for the incident, I was tempted to ramp the guy with the rock hard old skool bow but props are easier to replace than repairing fiberglass and explaining to the cops why I didn't stop.

Hope you had a good weekend. Have you heard from Wayne lately? Always wondering how he's doing.
