HELP! Can someone please tell me the part number for this piece of glass? This is on a 2006 44 DA. The illustration in Detail A would appear that #13 is the windshield, but the description is confusing as it says actuator. If anyone has dealt with this, please let me know. I have contacted Taylor Made and they need a part number. If they can’t supply the glass, they will refer me to Ocean Dynamics and they need me to template this with the holes, which becomes a crap shoot. If someone has sourced elsewhere, I would appreciate that information as well. Thanks in advance for your

Could it be that #6 (either one) is both pieces? I looked at the parts manual for the 300 -- which has a similar electric vent -- and there is no separate part number for the vent glass either.

Worst case you could track down #1 (windshield complete) but prepare to take out a 2nd mortgage if you do that

I thought I seen one on FP the other day. For the price I was thinking too bad it didn't fit my 92 300DA. I think if I ever need to I will replace with Lexan or a Polycarbonite.

If push comes to shove, it would seem to me that a good glass shop could size you a piece of tempered glass with the holes drilled in the proper place far, far cheaper. This is a flat piece. Nothing special at all. I hear you....you need someone to measure theirs complete with laying out the drill holes. While the bottom edge has a "curve" to it, I believe the entire piece would lay flat on a table, meaning that there is no curvature to the section.

I may be going to my boat this weekend and I could measure for you.....if you could wait til then.

PS...I have an 2004 420.

I know this thread has been around for quite a while, but I thought I'd share my recent experience with a vent window replacement on a 380DA. It may or may not be the identical dimensions as other 'dancers, but the design is at least very similar.

After searching for quite a while, I came to the conclusion that Ocean Dynamics (305-770-1800) was possibly the only company willing to fabricate this. No one else that I found would do curved, tempered glass, the Taylor Made replacement is no longer available from them, and I found nothing helpful on eBay, Google, etc.

However, OD was able to source the matching, green-tinted tempered glass, and had a pattern for a similar year 380DA which seemed to match mine almost perfectly. (I did ask them to increase the curvature very slightly from their drawing, which they accommodated perfectly.)

I'm not gonna lie... this was a very expensive project. But, given the various other options seemed like value-lowering hacks, I bit the bullet.

The entire team at Ocean Dynamics was awesome to work with. They responded to my initial email inquiry within hours, provided a quotation within a day or so, communicated quickly and clearly throughout the process, and delivered the replacement glass in less time than they quoted (just over 3 weeks). It was packed and shipped in a very robust box and arrived in great condition.

There was one very minor issue with the glass - I needed to make a trivial adjustment to the mounting brackets - but their team responded via email and phone within minutes to discuss and propose a solution. I installed it yesterday with absolutely no issues, and their Operations Manager personally called me last night to follow up and ensure I was pleased with the results.

Cost aside (I appreciate this was a fairly complicated "one off," custom project), I am extremely pleased with these guys and the product they delivered.

I was not asked or compensated in any manner to make this post; I was simply very pleased with these folks, and know how difficult this project has been for other DA owners.
