Background: Anchor (90', all chain) got REALLY stuck. We were able to get it up using the windlass but when we hit the power button to drop it the next time we went out, it dropped automatically (like a rocket) as soon as we pressed on the power button on the dashboard. We had to crank it up manually and since the previous owner did not give us the documentation on the windlass, we used the Sea Ray manual instructions, which said to refer to two diagrams that are not in the owner's manual (it's also missing from the on-line manual on the Sea Ray site). We later found out we were wrong, but we put the crank on the wrong connection on the top of the windlass instead of on the offset connection. We were able to crank the anchor up, but consequently stripped the bolt. We need to get it replaced first and may still have a problem with the solenoid or switch. Appreciate your help![/ATTACH]
