They still rent sleds up there. Might fill the void for every once in a while.

Yeah, and my friend still has his Apex's and wants me to go up. The issue is 5hrs to his house then 6+ to Old Forge. Or drive up directly at 7+ one way. Might be worth it for a week but not for the weekend. Easier to just bitch about it and reminisce ...

Man seeing you guys post about the sleds makes me really miss snowmobiling up in the Old Forge/Tug Hill. That use to make almost forget about the boat and love winter. But at least now I keep the boat in the water and can go down to the boat and tinker and keep the projects going. For me now the only good thing about winter is not having to cut the grass!
