What is winterizing?

Sorry - couldn't help myself... if I had a cruiser, I would be out right now, but being a Sundeck, there is not enough protection from the wind. However, I recently did a really good cleaning of the interior before I covered it, scrubbed all the storage areas, etc. Waxing the hull is next and probably some wet sanding of the gel above the rub rail since it is really oxidized.

The one thing that really gets me is the greasy finger prints on the engine hatch handle from when I had it worked on over the summer. Nothing, I mean nothing will get the stains off. Unfortunately, not many mercruiser i/o mechanics around.

I would, as suggested, bring it up with the manager and at least ask for a detail when spring comes around.
