Those LOOK like a great idea. But I have a feeling they only work for a while when someone turns on the lights to "charge" them up for a while. As soon as it's dark, they will go dark soon there after. Remember the old glow in the dark frisbees? Hold them under a light and then they will glow for a while. Then you had to take them in and hold them under a light again. I'd love to hear some reviews. I could see where they might be nice during docking in dark areas, but then again you'd have to hold them under a light to get them to glow before you use them.

Anybody tried these?

Hmm, website says 18 hours of glow with 5 minute exposure to light. Interesting... I wonder how much glow is left after 30 minutes or a couple of hours?

I bet if you activate them in a fission pile, that they'll glow nearly forever without having to expose them to light.

I'm just saying...

Best regards,

It will give your neighbors at the dock something more to talk about.... "Hey Joe did you see the guy over in B-32 and his glow in the dark lines" Doug, do you have problems now finding your lines at night?

I do coil up my lines and keep them well clear of the walk way. Though when I have guest on board at it is getting dark, I tend to put a glow stick on the line where the guest will debark or board the boat. If I light up the area with natural light it just attracts the wong things (mostly the drunks on the dock that want to chat:) or bugs)

If you get some, please update the post to let us know how they work.
