From what I hear the story goes that the new owner of the boat was trying to get it delivered to the Miss River but it was going to cost a ton for a shipper to get her there. So.... he decided to build a trailer for it to do it, but the trailer took longer than expected to build. The local marina that has a lift apparently washed their hands of the deal for some reason.

This started yesterday morning on The Hull Truth, up to 5 pages now…..

In Lake Minnetonka in MN they are trying to figure out how to get this 60ft Chris Craft Roamer out of the lake. There is a huge back story on this. It used to be a charter boat in the lake. They drove it through 6 inches of ice to get to the landing.

Mostly. The Boat/Trailer/TowVehicle are still on the ramp, the wheels of the trailer are out of the the water by a foot or two. Nothing remains in the water.

I seriously doubt the tow vehicle can pull the load up the ramp and wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing falls over on the Starboard side when they make the right turn near the top of the ramp.

When I turned it off they had the boat out of the water on the trailer, they used the tow truck to help winch the tow vehicle forward a bit so the wheels were out of the water and off the icy part of the ramp, but the tow vehicle and trailer hadn't departed the ramp yet. The support poles on the outriggers on the trailer had been bent up but still looked to be providing support, and apparently there were still 1000 idiots like me watching the live stream.

My favorite quote from the video: "You can always trust a tow truck driver smoking a cigarette. Those guys know what they are doing"

I wont lie. I could not walk away from this yesterday. Once you got sucked in to the live comments you just could not stop watching. I now see why kids these days watch utube for hours on end.
I will hand it to the transport company they worked there ass off doing this... would love to know how much it all cost having all those guys and then how much the tow truck got paid to sit there all day. What really surprised me when listing to the live feed not one F bomb or any blow ups from all those guys.

Totally agree that trailer is one POS!!! I can just imagine today some guy on the ramp with a portable welder crafting all sorts of crazy ways to support the boat on the trailer and them adding at least 20 more ratchet straps and some bubble wrap.

The story I got was the new owner got the estimate for transport and decided to do it himself to save money nd had a trailer built but it took longer than expected to be completed. The marine with the travel lift "washed their hands" of this deal. Hence taking it out on the ramp.
