It never fails! I wash the boat up on Friday to get ready for the weekend with a nice shinning boat and BOOM! the next morning some damn duck leaves his dinner on my side deck!:smt013

the worst part is that even after brushing with boat wash I cant get rid of the yellow staining on my clear coat!

is there any spray on cleaners that work for this??

I actually study poop that comes from my bird or dog.....It tells me how my parrot and dog is feeling and if anything is wrong with them.....So instead of thinking selfishly about your clean gel coat, see the beauty and information that poop tells us.........

I pulled up into the parking lot last week with my dock box in the back of the truck. The sea gulls freakin nailed it BEFORE it even got out to the dock. :smt013

The boat still has a week in the building so they are probably plotting their attack as we speak.

Hi,

i am on a swing mooring in a bay and seagulls visit all the time..I have since strung up some
fishing line on the foredeck and this seems to keep most of them at bay.

HOWEVER, I still get the occasional shag or gul leaving a deposit or two..

Just washing it away still leaves behind a stain and very difficult to get off until I decided to use this bilge cleaner. Firstly I removed the bulk of the poo and then poured this bilge cleaner onto the spot. left it for about 5 to 10 minutes and whala deck 99% clean. Use a brush for the last 1%

works a treat.. I can't remember the name of bilge cleaner but it comes in a 4 litre container and the idea is you through it into your bilge and it slops around with the bilge water keeping everything nice and clean. Next time I am out on the boat I will have a look what its called.

The color of it is pink

Just walked off the boat yesterday and stopped to talk to a friend in the parking lot.
Ducks are all over our marina and we saw two coming in for a landing at the shoreline a few feet away and the hen flew into a branch of a tree and fell about 8 feet to the ground.

I have never seen anythng like that before.

The drake waddled back to the hen (and gave her a "what the heck are your doing" look) and they walked around together with the hen quacking and shaking her head for 5 minutes before they entered the water and swam off.

You are so right... I never thought about it that way before:lol:

I am glad that you all provided comments I was venting a little when I posted it and then thought that my sarcasm would be lost in translation.

I am glad that others share my strife! Good advice on the bilge cleaner... does this strip off the wax??

I've been using this product for years and it does a great job. Starbrite® Non-skid Deck Cleaner / Protector. http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wc...Id=10001&langId=-1&storeId=11151&storeNum=10104&subdeptNum=10379&classNum=10381 Pour it directly on the stain and use a brush. Comes off quickly, unfortunately so does your wax job. It is easy to put the wax back on but that stain is a pain.

You can get it a WM for about $10 a bottle. On sale it was less than $5.00 last week. Great product. Watch the demo.....

I don't work for Starbrite or WM.

A day after spending the weekend away they did the same thing here. A week later the stains still showing. Birds are reincarnated people that hate boats/clean cars. I almost believe this for real...
