Yep. I have to use those every winter. When it starts to warm up I remove them. Which begs the question. Does everything have to shrink when cold?

 

Have problems with my clear vinyl but not my tops but if you wet it down with warm water and snap it into place that does seem to help it stretch.

As Phil said, look at Amazon, snap extenders, various lengths. Usually the 1” work.

 

Post #5 works. I generally get everything snapped up after a rain. We have a 44DB so there is plenty of snaps and zippers.

 

I use the extenders....work great.

 

On warm days you can wet down your canvas as stated above - this will help to relax the canvas to better allow for stretching. The warmth will also allow the eisenglass panels to have a little more stretch to - they seem to shrink more than the canvas.

Depending on how much it shrunk you may need to do this a little at a time over a period of time. You may want to look for the assistance of a Top Snapper Tool to allow you to apply more pressure when stretching - be careful to stretch and not rip the snap hole.
