Apologies for likely not using the proper name but I am referring to the glass hatch that is located above the forward berth (directly above the bed) on the Sundancer 300. My issue is that mine will unlatch and open but it can't be "locked" in an open position. There are tightening screws on the sliding mechanism on either side that would seem to be able to tighten against the included rods and prop the hatch open but even when tightened, they don't secure the hatch in position. It simply returns (under it's own weight) to the closed position.
Am I doing something wrong or not understanding who this is supposed to work?
