So, I am not sure that every one knows about poor Wayne. (Summer fun II)

I understand that at times Wayne can be a Ba!! Breaker but I personally find him to be amusing...

Wayne, Has been run off from the negative engagements from the BG's that are on the site. Now personally I don't give a rats butt what type of boat you own. But to post some of the negative things that the BG's have done with no one punishing them for it has finally run Wayne off of CSR.

I would like these people to know that i look for this site to be a friendly and kind place where we are able to talk boats and leave petty comments out of it. Running off a fellow member because he may have caused problems on another site at one point in time does not mean you can run him off of this site where he has never caused any harm...

To same with you guys and I hope this will not happen again in the FUTURE.

To Wayne, I know that you said you are done with this site but I for one will miss the banter!!!

Geez Wayne did getting that fru-fru dog make you turn in your mancard? :smt043Who gives a rats pitootie what somebody says from another site... or even this one! I enjoyed your "slighty unbalanced" comments!

I saw Wayne's last post and he asked Admin to remove him from the site and delete his posts, so it appears he got his wish.
(the post was a bit colorful...complete with emoticons flipping the bird)

Oh Please. Wayne constantly put down other people, disrespected their boats, and was generally abusive. He started crap many times on the BOC site and then complains if they give him grief here. Give me a break.

GFC,
I was wondering the same thing. Just so I understand, there were Bayliner guys on this site giving him crap and he left? WTF? First, why are there bayliner guys here saying $hit? Second, Who gives a crap what someone says? I have encountered MANY personalities on this site, some good and some bad. I just don't respond to the tools because you can't fix stupid or ignorant!!

I liked Wayne and had no problems with him. I'm sorry he got a mangina and left!! Others can't make you feel different than you wish to feel. If Capt. Sundancer and his wife, Lacook, didn't leave after the pig thread I can't believe something so terrible happened to Wayne that would warrant the abrupt bolting from this site that he performed!!
Good Luck to you Wayne as I know you will still be popping on here to read comments!!

Thanks for the clarification of sorts on BG.

Personally I didn't join CSR to have to play with guys like Wayne. It would appear he can dish out his crap but can't take it when people send crap back at him. I guess his big boy panties didn't fit any more so he left.

This whole world is too small to have to put up with people who are rude to others and ridicule people because of what they own or where they live or what they post on here. Yeah, I've been guilty of it a time or two on here because something that was posted really rankled me. But I hope you all have found that is the exception, not the rule. With Wayne it was his way of dealing with others.

When some people leave a site/job/community/neighborhood some people miss them. Others celebrate their departure. I'll leave it up to you all to decide which emotion is appropriate where Wayne is concerned.

This is actually a fairly tame site IMO
sure discussions can get a bit heated
but personal issues and attacks seem to be at a minimum
we are all adults for the most part here...with a similar interest
I look at boats like bikes...
It ain't WHAT you ride...it's WHY you ride

I thought the BGs were a 80's rock band... I miss Wayne, he added colorful comments... But if you give it you have to be able to take it... Suck it up Wayne and come on back...

Maybe Wayne is just a big pu$$y and really his wife cut off his internet access.:smt043 So because he didn't want CSR to know that he doesn't wear the pants in the family he blamed it on the BGs and committed forum suicide. That possible isn't it?

Or, maybe he bought a big diesel boat and hangs around with those guys at 'the other place'?

Based on the assumption that BG means Bayliner Guys, it seems to me that this is Club Sea Ray. The owner of the site takes a liberal view and allows the owners of other brands to participate, and I may be narrow minded, but it makes no sense and disrespects all of us who try to keep a civil approach to the CSR forum when the Bayliner crowd brings their garbage and squabbles here........particularly since it appears that the Bayliner Forum has asked them to leave. Aside from a little bit of humor, it is more of a disruption than anything else. Personally, their participation doesn't affect me much because I don't read many of their posts since I don't know much, if anything, about their boats. And, who knows, I may be part of their problem in their staying here because I was critical of their idea to fix a 1/8" hole in a trailer boat hull with a carriage bolt......and that is ok too. It doesn't matter to me. If you post something stupid that may damage someone's boat or get them hurt, I'm going to point it out, even if you own a Sea Ray.

Thanks Frank; I've been wondering bout the carriage bolt repair procedure. If I ever own a Bayliner I'll be sure to carry a few!

First off I like Wayne, I thought he was hilarious.

But to leave club Sea-Ray because someone is giving you a hard time is kind of puzzling. Isn't that why we are all here?

Giving each other a hard time is part of the fun, especially when it come to boats. I catch crap all the time in my yacht club for being a "Sea-Ray Snob".

I razz the heck out of my bayliner buddies (usually something like: you know your a ******* if you own a bayliner ) but I give the Carver and Tolly guys crap too.

Come on back Wayne, pull up your panties and join back in man. :smt001

If we ate chocolate icecream everyday, life would be boring! I have a choice to read or not read his posts, I chose to read and many may not......I think this site is great and Jim does a great job providing a resource for Searay Boaters and non Searay Boaters. It is the people who are technical and non technical who provide me to enjoy reading posts everyday....Thanks to everyone!

Yes he quit before and called us all A-holes (or something like that) then later asked Jim to take him back. One thing is certain and that's the all important Tiki Bar forum will be alot more quiet. I could care less. Now, if Frank W left, that would be something to talk about.

If I had a nickle for everytime someone insulted me. . .shoot, I would have a boat big enough to use a DB48 as a dingy.

Heck, if I had a nickle for everytime *GARY* insulted me. . . .I would still have a yacht and a mansion in each of several states.

Seems I missed the whole dustup. Too bad, would have made good reading. But this is the internet: Insults happen. Man up. This is how it works.

Shoot man, nothings a really controversy unless Gary weighs in. All the rest are just casual miss-understandings and mutual disagreements. Gary wears the stripes of past verbal wars and though his thoughts may be pointed I respect them.
As for the BG’s, I don’t mind their comments and enjoy their banter but at the end of the day I am a member of a Sea Ray site not BOC. If they offend another SR member then they disrespect the privilege of playing here.
IMO.
