Hello yall i have a question for people that had the 220 for at least one season ... One of the only negative point i fount about my 220 is that in rough water it doesnt cuts the wave enough because the hull is not havind an enough deep v in the front so that when you get rough water the ride become everything else than smooth ... When its normal or calm it is maybe an advantage because i guess it gives more stability bug in my case because i ride on the St lawrence river and lac St pierre there is aboug half oc the time rough water

Lakeblum Did you had a trailer in your package because at this price if the boat is as clean as you said it is a steal ... Congratulation you wont be disapointed by this boat ... And for the guy that wants a wake board tour ... The question you need to ask your friend first is does he want to keed is factory bimini ? Iff yes he wont have the choice to buy a factory wake tower to be sire it clear the bimini go take a look on greatlakesskipper if not i had a monstertower.com on one of my previous boat and was pretty amaze how easy it was to install, fold etc and pretty cheap too good warranty too

Yep, it included the original dual axle trailer that was built for the boat (but had new tires). Can't wait until we can hit the water in a couple months!!

We have been getting some use out of ours here in Aus, In our bay if it gets choppy it doesnt ride well. But we only take it out when its warm so its not a bad thing to get wet up front when its hot!

The dealer has approved my trade and I got the admiral to sign off!

I added the smart tabs to my 220 and the ride improved quite a bit. I feel that my boat does a good job in 3-4 waves. I have never pushed it much past that though. I can run in 3-4 foot chop at 30 mph and not kill myself!

I closed on it today. I'll probably pick it up mid April. The head is a big deal! I have 2 small girls (and one boy)

congrats on the boat. what do you guys think about these options?

i bought two BA15D led's for the existing attwood courtesy lights, but i havent seen them on. i dont know how bright they will be at night. i usually have a few couples on the boat during the evenings and we get the music going, so i wanted to give the interior a club type atmosphere. i know people have modified their interior lights, but ive done a search and only seen people replacing the existing courtesy bulbs. anyone have any existing experience?

Also, does anyone have the details on the addition of a subwoofer or amp to the existing clarion stock radio on a 2008 sundeck 220 model?

That's sweet! Glad to see another 220 SD on the lake. Post some pic's when you can! I have two girls (10 and 16). Neither one of them really use the head unless it's an emergency, but it's always nice to have one just in case. It has saved my a$$ a couple of times (literally). LOL

Ok I'm picking up my new '12 220 Sundeck 4/17. As long as the weather is cool and cloudy I'll have the discipline to get a good coat of wax on her before I put her in the boatwell. But if it's warm and sunny... The wax will wait until next week!!!!

Congrats on the boat. We have already taken our boat out several times. The water is a little too cold to play in but tubing and crusing are good times.

Hey 220sundeck08 post some pics of your leds once they will be installed i was looking to buy some for my boat too and for your subwoofer upgrade there is no problem you can drive it with your stock clarion xmd3 but you ll need to buy an amplifier to drive it just plug the amplifier to the rca (red and white) plug at the back of your clarion ... Be careful there is one output and one input

Hello all. I am about to pull the trigger on a 2010 220 loaded up with a 350 MAG and a bunch of options. Boat has 56 hours ( not sure if that is high number for a boat that has one season in the water?) It has "Vision air" seats which I am told are great for sitting with a wet suit but not sure how comfortable they are. Wondering if anyone here knows? The boat I'm looking at is out of state so I cant see it yet. This is my first boat. It will be used on the Flathead Lake in Montana which is a huge body of water that can get rough, Wondering how the ride is in 3ft plus water. I am leaning towards the Sundeck because of the room and the head so I can talk my wife into longer days out there. Any advice would be appreciated. Boat has upgraded stereo, battery, tower, etc etc.

I have the "Vision Air" seats and they are very comfortable and will allow you to dry out quickly. A some notes about them.

They are a mesh rather than padded foam and I like to describe them as a lot like the office chairs that are the screen fabric. If you find those comfortable then the vision air seats will be fine for you, I only mention it since some people like/need the bolstering that padding provides.

The second thing is that they can be drafty on cooler mornings and days. Every now and then we hang a towel on the seat to cut that down. The towel on the chair also helps if you need privicy while changing in the head (with the door open).

Tell you what. I have the factory vinyl tall back seats. If your seats are white, I will trade you mine for yours and I'll pay to ship them back and forth!

I really want the Vison Air as I swim a lot and require a seat that helps me dry quickly.
