Just upgraded to a 07 310 from a 280. I have always kept the 280 in dry storage and now I will need to put the 310 in a slip. This is all new to me so any suggestions on up keep and taking care of the cruiser would be helpful.

I have scheduled to have the bottom cleaned monthly in the summer and bi monthly in the winter.
Not sure about what I need to do as far as keeping the AC on in the summer while it is setting there or the heater in the winter while setting there. I live in Pensacola Florida so it is really humid inthe summer and it does not get that cold inthe winter but we fo have a few COLD days and nights.

Any suggestions on any other tips would be great.

1. Get a good bottom paint... :) I'm waiting for my 2008 310DA :) but when it arrives I'll put CopperCoat on it. Expensive but I hope it is worth it.

2. If you do not use your boat very often - have a diver check every month or so and clean the boat growth.

3. The A/C has a "dehumidify" setting that will run the A/C for 30-60 minutes every 3-12 hours (programmable) - use it. Else you can get into all kinds of problems.

4. Have your anodes checked every 1-2 months. When they are at 50% replace them. Don't forget the Genny Anodes! If they seem to disappear very quickly go to point 8!

5. "Massage" your sea-cocks every 2-4 weeks (open and close them) else they might get stuck - especially in the hot summer months. Have them oiled once pr. year.

6. Clean you sea strainers when needed - every 2-3 months at least. Very dependent on what kind of water your are in.

7. Have your raw water A/C lines and cooling system flushed every 2 years or so. (Rydlyme, Barnacle Buster or Triton Engine/AC flush) (I don't know anything about V-Drive cooling - so I don't know how to flush that)

8. Every 6-12 months or so - check that your boats electricity is galvanic isolated from shore power. Turn shorepower off at the shore switch. Shut of Genny or Inverters. Measure with Multimeter OHM between shorepower ground and a boat Power outlet ground. (or main A/C ground bar and shore power ground inlet behind the panel) - that will insure no stray currents is attacking... If Ohm reading is between 0-50 Ohm there is a big problem. It should show "----" for no connection at all.

edit: and almost forgot - congratulations on the new boat!
