My 2002 340 has a 2006 Kohler 5ECD gen set in it with 125 hours on it. Was working fine a couple of weeks ago. This weekend, went to start, runs 10 seconds, then goes into shut down mode. Showing a code "UU" I notice the negative battery cable was almost completely off the battery, so don't know if it cleared it's settings or not.
I've tried all the basics, raw water flow, fuel flow, temp etc. While running the 10 seconds, The gauge shows -0- volts from either of the 120 volt sides. (240 volt generator)
About to start the "in-depth" trouble shooting process, but I thought I would see if there were any "Ah Ha" moments out there.
