cpt sundancer got some of those infractions or demerits or what ever they are called on the "infamous Pig thread" something he posted to Gary I believe. Neither one of us really understood it all either. Just smile and said, well guess we have been kicked out of one or two better places, and went on.
Ya it would be kind of nice to know what they really are and how they really work?

Sorry, I didn't know about the porn happening. I'm glad I posted this. Maybe we can get some clarification on who and how infraction are distributed.
I can't see how the original poster of a thread can be held accountable for junk someone else posts on a thread.
If someone posts junk on this one then how do I stop it or why would I be penalized?
Wayne has a point here and I would be mad too. Just hope he decides to stay. He and others add personality to the site.

I missed the "porn," I did read a few "double entendre's," of the type which "Adults?" would understand.
If the double entendre's were the "porn, Then the closing of the thread makes me think of all the liberal media comments which have been mentioned in the "Holding" tank, as having much truth in them.
I for one do not want to see a smut photo filled, or foul language site develop here, but I am not for out and out censorship either.
I did my time for this country and our freedoms. I am having a hard time defending where this country is going by writing to legislature members with trying to keep the "Entitlement," believers at bay, the gun control zealots, (I know I will sleep better at night when it is illegal to own a firearm in this country...) the illegal aliens worshipers (whats the media term in use "Undocumented Immigrants") and the moochers in line.
Ah yes, some of the above was a few more double entendre's.
So if there was some "porn" posted, then you did the right thing.:huh:

The infraction system is a way to get rid of constant abusers of the site. An infraction or 2 disappears after a week or so. A real pain in the butt user that gets a few infractions back to back will be temporarily banned from the site. So your participation in the site and whether or not you get ousted is really up to the user instead of us on the moderation crew. Are we perfect at moderating? No, but the site runs pretty damn well.

As Jim and Richard have already explained the rules are pretty clear, zero porn. Heck the mods don't go looking for it, but if it is called to our attention we try to remove it ASAP. Did we miss some in another thread?? We are all grown ups here. Lets just keep it clean and enjoy Sea Ray boating!!!!
