Friends that show horses say that costs start at $2000 a month for training and board, per horse. That is not buying the horse or any other expense.

Had a horse a red Morgan gelding like the cops ride, big sob, won him in a gambling bet, I think the owner lost on purpose.
Was fortunate had a girlfriend who lived on a farm with horses, board was free.
Rule was I had to go every day before work and after to clean horse and stall.
Sold after 2 years of that. Boats are nothing in maintenance to horses.

I had a boat neighbor lose his boat in a poker game in the middle of summer….. cost him his wife and half his stuff. careful gambling with anything other then what’s in your wallet

We got a shelf full of that shit. For both cattle and equine.
A younger fella up the road took it for covid and damn neared OD on it. They thought he was a gonner.
Just to add the cattle stuff is liquid not paste like the equine stuff. He shot it up and damn near died.
The cattle suff is liquid and he shot it up. Total dumb ass in my opinion.

That weekend he saw me walking down the dock with a burgundy cooler that matched his boat color…. He offered me $200 for mine and gave me his which was the exact one in green….. still have it
That was Friday night…. He lost the boat Saturday night, boat was gone Sunday. Saturday night when he told his wife there was an epic fight from the wife….we could hear yelling from her, slapping and assumed that was her slapping him…. people were calling the cops… it was crazy

He may have been in over his head or was just tired of the status quo. If a man isn't happy money and assets don't mean shit in my opinion.

Mine was way back in the day when the NFL Saints we’re called the ‘Aints’. The mops of the league. I forget the details of the bet but he was betting on which team would win on a given Sunday, I bet on who would lose. I took the Aints every week, won the horse.

He obviously not so smart. He is very lucky to still be here.
I really don’t know him well at all. He has been here on the farm a few times loading calf’s up.
His father-in-law I know well.
He couldn’t breath when he took it, they said that was because of the dosage he took. I recommend staying away from that BS.
