A politician with something to hide? Yeah I can’t argue with that. But again you have to show a stronger correlation than just a little money trail. $300k isn’t going to convince a country to release a bio weapon.

This statement shows a fundamental misunderstanding of the issue. The kids are catching the virus and spreading it to others, that's the issue... The fact that they don't show symptoms, aren't killed or hospitalized has no bearing on the discussion of spreading the virus.

OKAY. So you believe that the Chinese released a biological weapon. And your response is to ignore it and let it kill thousands of US Citizens so that the Chinese could claim a victory. Instead of helping us fight them and keep their weapon from being effective.

the only option is to require a mask because half the kids aren’t vaccinated. And you’re also ignoring that the vaccine doesn’t stop transmission it just reduces it. Sticking a group of vaccinated kids into a room with an unmasked carrier is still stupid. As you say. It’s about science, mixed in with a little common courtesy.

Why does it matter if you've been vaccinated? You're protected. Who cares? So now the goal posts have been moved - it now doesn't stop it, it just reduces it?

I believe theres people out there that don't want this to ever end. I know the politicians don't. Neither do the teachers unions.

No one ever claimed 100% effectiveness. The only people that say that are the anti-vaxxers, who use it as an excuse to not get it. You're basically undermining the efforts to beat this "biological weapon" and then pointing a finger and saying "look it doesn't work..." As my mother used to say "No Shit, Sherlock"

Correct - one of them are 95% (edit 93.7) effective. Everyone knows this, so your patronizing falls on deaf ears.

FWIW, I wouldn't be surprised AT ALL to find evidence that China released this. And in doing so, they exposed a HUGE weakness in the US and now know that we as citizens will not react properly to a biological weapon. We're too busy preparing for a gun fight to see the real threat is our inability to work together.

They even caused us to attack our own capital.

If you believe Jan 6 was an armed insurrection, I have some ocean front property in Arizona to sell you. That was a few FBI folks trying to get patriots riled up and they failed. Looked like a guided tour walking through the capital!

I said it a few posts up - COVID is not the bioweapon, the spike protein is. Look at the data come out from those that died from COVID or the vax.

How do you have a virus if you show zero symptoms?? Didn't asymptomatic spread get debunked a while back when it came out the PCR tests were being run to 40 cycles and the creator of the PCR test said it shouldn't be used to test for COVID...

As to the chinese virus killing thousands of Americans - please look into co-morbidities. VERY few died just from COVID...

Americans overall are fat and lazy. As a society, we are in poor overall health. Hell, look at the ads on TV. They are selling drugs to counter the side effects of other drugs. China found a way to beat us without firing a shot...

Yeah but there is a big marketing campaign on the other side trying to convince people NOT to take the vaccine. This whole thread is about that. And by the way, COVID is that bad. Millions of people being hospitalized and a rapidly mutating virus is a pretty serious thing. And even the leaders of the GOP are starting realize what kind of antivax genie they created as hospitalizations start to rise in the the US again.

Here is an equally unsupportable statement of "fact":

The Trump organization is funding the social media campaigns supporting the anti-vax movement. He and the GOP have the most "money" needing to be followed, and the ones that have the most interest in downplaying COVID. I have proof. A friend of a friend is a computer programmer at JP Morgan and they have analyzed currency movements through big tech and its clearly originating from Trump tower.

I agree that its highly probable it came out of that lab. I doubt it was done deliberately. China has the most to lose with a global pandemic given their products are sold around the world. It was an incompetency accident.

The US's issues are self-inflicted wounds of division. Not the first time, and won't be the last time. You guys accomplish so much when you are united. And accomplish so little when you are not.
