Is there a dedicated forum for the 40 sedan bridge
Will do!It seems to. But I still want to se pics (in the water) when it’s installed!
I am a fan of Trident 101. I know My3sons recently replaced all of his. He posted pictures and a short description back here on this thread somewhere. One of my winter projects is to replace the sewage lines on the boat. I believe Bugaboo did this in his videos but curious if anyone knows the current best lines to use and the length needed.

Greg, Mine just lift off after I loosen them. Where are you on Middle River? We are on Galloway Creek. ToddHi all, does anyone know how to pop the seats off the pedestals on the bridge? Thanks, Greg
Treble, we are in Hopkins creek across from the Crazy Tuna. How do you loosen the seat? I want to take them off to install a one piece carpet. GregGreg, Mine just lift off after I loosen them. Where are you on Middle River? We are on Galloway Creek. Todd
There is a knob on mine that allows the seat so rotate (or not), loosen that one and it lifts off. They are heavy and awkward but lift straight up. The base just sits on top of the post.Treble, we are in Hopkins creek across from the Crazy Tuna. How do you loosen the seat? I want to take them off to install a one piece carpet. Greg
I have never played with the other knob. What does it control? There is a knob on mine that allows the seat so rotate (or not), loosen that one and it lifts off. They are heavy and awkward but lift straight up. The base just sits on top of the post.

Just an FYI. I have been using ZAAL Noflex digester and the stuff works wonders (Coast guard uses it) at keeping things clean and fresh. I buy 5 at a time from marinesan.com and it is way less expensive and free shipping than anywhere else. I would def run a treatment though before taking on this job!!! Look up some videos, you wont be disappointed.Write up is post #4013.
I wanted to use SeaLand Oder Safe Plus but I couldn't find it anywhere at the time.
I went with the trident that Bill mentioned, no regrets so far. I ordered a 50' roll and ended up buying 10 more feet locally to finish up. That did everything including the overboard discharge, the short section between the tank and the "T" pump and the section from the deck pump-out to the tank. The last two sections were the ones that failed the damp rag test, i guess because they are connected to the bottom of the tank and always full of sewage.
The job wasn't too bad from an access point of view, just take your time. I always remove things that can make life a little easier, but then that can add time to the overall project. I think I get a better end product that way. I also was pleasantly surprised that it didn't turn out as nasty from a stinky mess stand point as I feared. I rinsed the system multiple times before starting and made up a few 1 /12" plugs to put in the ends of the hoses as I unhooked them to keep anything from dripping out as I pulled hoses. Good luck.
Has anyone tried the Raritan Sani Flex?I am a fan of Trident 101. I know My3sons recently replaced all of his. He posted pictures and a short description back here on this thread somewhere.
Did you check under the inside bunk in the second stateroom?I have a RayPilot 650 with Type 100 course computer in my 2000 400DB. Does anyone know where they located the fluxgate compass? I am thinking of upgrading my system.
