What's a good lube for stubborn zippers on my canvas??

Try a No. 2 pencil and run it up and down the teeth. Graphite is a great zipper lubricant.

thanks bob.

You can also try Chapstick, rubbing an unlit candle on them, or most boating shops sell a zipper lube, the looks like chapstick but a thinner viscosity.

Thanks for the tip fella's

Or you could use something weird like Snap and Zipper Lube that doesn't migrate or stain. 2oz tube will last years.

i'll check it out.thanks.......

I keep a couple of small candles on board for zippers and snaps... Works great, no mess and lasts at least through a boating season. It is part of my winterization to lube them. No sense in buying the "zip lube" when paraffin works well...

Thanks for the tip.........We really enjoyed your site.:)
