Is there a way to manually lower the trim tabs when the boat is out of the water? I need to replace my anodes but need to lower the trim tabs in order to access it. I have a 2010 450 with Zeus pods.
Thanks!

I don't think so, I found this in one of the manuals:

IMPORTANT: The trim tab cylinder is equipped with a check valve to avoid the lowering
of the trim tab after shut down. When service is required lower the trim tab before shutting
the engine down.

I think before you splash her for the season, start the engines up and drop the tabs. Then replace the anodes.

Ya, was afraid of that. Can’t believe they didn’t think of an easier way to service the things!

If your referring to the 4 aluminum plate anodes on the tabs, on my 2017 boat they can be removed with the tab all the way up.

I guess I assumed I’d need to lower them but I will try with them up.
Thanks
