Your opinions on this product compared to an EPIRB?

It seems like a pretty low cost alternative that boaters might want to consider if they can't afford an EPIRB.

Initial Purchase is under $200.00 but the fees for the satellite service and rescue service could make it just as pricey as the EPIRB single purchase price over the long term. I like the ACR Aquafix, just have not saved up enough to get it yet. It goes for $400+ but does not require any service fees after that. So if you pro rate the initial purchase of the find me spot and two years activation the ACR makes better long term financial practicality.
