I'm firming up my Abacos itinerary leaving the Tampa area May 9 which should put us in position at Stuart May 12. From there we will leave for West End May 13, clear Customs and continue on to the anchorage at Great Sale Cay the same day.

Right now we plan on visiting Allans Pensacola Cay, Powell Cay, Treasure Cay, Great Guana Cay and Hope Town.

I'm also open to suggestions of any other places. If you have a favorite place please post here as I want to consider it. Also if anyone is leaving Stuart via the St Lucie inlet on or about May 12 or 13 for West End please consider joining up with me as I would really like to have another boat along as this is my first time across.

There is an anchorage on the North end of Manjack that is really nice. Although exposed to the North, it is protected from all other directions. Really nice beach where Sports Illustrated did thier swimsuit photo shoot a number of years back. Great spot to have lunch, a swim and a few cold Kaliks!

Green Turtle is one of my favorite marinas. Last year that had a deal where your dockage fee was credited against your bar bill! You can rent golf carts right at the marina and then head over to the Bluff House for live music or head into New Plymouth. If you are a diver, do a dive with Brendal (http://brendal.com/index.html) We did the "Adventure Tour" where we did two tank dives, then he cooked a lobster feast right on the beach while drinking Goombay Smash.

Since your going to Great Guana, I am sure you are going to spend some time at Nippers...my favorite bar on earth.

Brian

Thanks Brian. I'll put Manjack and Green Turtle on the itinerary. Nippers is already there.
Thanks
