Your experience with faded colored gelcoat restore?

Mine is a 1990 220 Overnighter with a green stripe at the top of the hull just below the rubrail. My marina did a good job of bringing back the faded color... now I want to keep it that way. Any feedback on the best products to use? Thanks!
