Just for fun.

Along the lines of the Jeff Foxworthy redneck jokes, complete the sentence.

For example...

You might be a boat-nut if your boat costs more than your truck!!

You might be a boat-nut if :

You have a friend or relative that passes away and you offer to bury them at sea using your boat.

So far I'm 3 for 3....this could get serious....I might have to seek :smt100

You keep a spare line under your desk to practice knots during conference calls.

Darn you monkey fist... darn you...

You might Be a Boat nut if.......
1. you have a separate inbox folder at work to monitor the CSR traffic.
2. Commute to work a handful of times over the summer by boat
3. Tell people who invite me to weddings at 1PM on a Sat or Sun if they have someone that can pick us up at the marina around 12:30  and if they can't say "sorry We already made plans that weekend"
We fill our schedule in March on purpose  the summer goes too fast

You tell your daughter she can only go to college if she helps you sell your older boat.

Here's what the Local Bayliner/Maxum dealers slogan has been for 25+ years

well my wife calls me a boat nut because we go eat at a place called "brewmaster" once in a while. and THEY HAVE A DOCK outside.. so its a 5 minute drive by car to go eat.. BUT.. its a 20 min drive to the boat ramp and 10 mins to unload, and 30 mins on the water....

and i choose to boat in instead of drive.. LOL... if thats not a boat nut i hav eno idea what is!!!!

These are good! Keep it up. I think we may have a widespread outbreak of "boat-nut" - itis on this site.

crOck...that sounds like us! Much better 'cool' factor to let everyone watch you arrive by boat than just drive up! (i will admit that our ramp is only a couple minutes away tho) Then we get to sit and look out at how nice the boat looks as the restaurant sits on a hill overlooking the marina.

if:

1. You've ever turned down sex to go check on your boat
2. You've flown home early from a business trip so you could be with your boat during a storm
3. You measure non-boating expenses not by dollars but by "tanks of fuel" (i.e. You don't need braces on your teeth... that's 4 tanks of fuel")

These don't apply to me... umm... just some thoughts of what extreme behavior would be....

You accidentally, on purpose,  forget something on the boat, so you have run back down during the week and get it.
