OH man, you just need to head north young man. Some of the best time's I've ever had were had in Lake St Clair at Jobbie Nooner, Muscamoot Raft off or just any old weekend up at Gull. Actually, those parties make Islamorada look like a comparative ice cream social, but we make do ;-)

Rob, while i've not been there, the jobbie nooner is pretty much x-rated, from what i've heard.
 
Well that was the plan over the summer but after I got down here, I realized I'm pretty much married to this place - I can't imagine ever leaving. I will be up for both Jobbie Nooners and the Muscamoot raft off - that's for sure.
 
I have been to Bartender's bash for the last 2 years. It is not as great as people say.

However, if you go down there for Memorial Weekend....thats a whole different story.

can anybody send me a map to where the party is on lke st. clair, i run to put n bay twice a year, but looking for something new................... rob.
 
Hey man, Sorry for the delay - the dates are the 1st-5th of May. The really big party days are Monday and Tuesday. we're goiingto have a great time. Regarding the party spots in Lake St Clair, just google Muskamoot Bay and/or Gull Island. -T

Tim, are you referring to the Bartender Bash with your dates? The dates for the Bash are the following weekend...
 
Hmm... Everybody has been saying 4th & 5th were the BB because I think it's a full moon.

I don't know the definitive source though so I'm just going off of the facebook entries.

Party looks like my boat on Menorial Day and 4th of July on Lake Sylvia in Lauderdale! last year I served out over 80# of frozen Margarita's! Tequila is absolutly "panty remover".

This Gotta Regatta is promoted by a friend of mine ... and I know most of the gals that go, lots of hawt late 30's and 40's chicas!

My 460 draws to much to get near the Islamorada Sand Bar, but pontoon boats can be rented by the day. The real party is at the Tiki bars Friday and Satuday night!

Love boating in Florida!

Whew! Glad we got that straightened up. I had already booked a room at the Holiday Inn (gotta use up the points) for that weekend!

Sounds like a plan Tim. Looking forward to getting out there for the weekend. We (wife and I) will actually be out there Friday night through Tuesday. Our daughter (college student at FSU) and a couple of her friends may join us as well. It will be nice to meet someone from the board and to go to the event with a couple of boats together.

It would be nice to meet up for cocktails in the coming weeks before the trip. Kind of a meet and greet. But our schedule looks really full over the next few weeks - going to FSU to "evacuate" our daughter, resurfacing the pool, resurfacing the pool deck, testing out the new Aquaglide floating island, etc. I'll shoot you a PM with my contact info.

Are you staying on the hook or at a hotel? What dates are you staying?
