yay or nay on 1999 40DA update?

All,
These mods look great, I just have one question. How the hell do you get the stock vents off ? I have searched the web and the forum and cannot find an answer.
I have cut the calk on mine and pulled it back (port side), I can see a threaded bolt at the back, I looked inside the step and found a nut on a bolt, I removed the nut. I found the same nut and bolt at the front in the storage locker, I removed that nut as well. Still the vent will not come off.
Any idea's ???

Mike, welcome aboard. Make a new post in the general section of the forum clearly asking how to remove vents on your model to get answers. The original poster has not been on the site in 2 years.
