yamaha 2.5hp outboard question

I am considering a new outboard. i had a honda 2 but it with in the drink { don't ask }. The honda was great but it did not store on my boat very easily. you had to lay it on it's side , so it did not fit in the trunk. I had to lift one of my seats on the cockpit and lay it under. I am hoping the yamaha will fit because the maker says you can store it one its back.
does anyone have any experience with this outboard thanks

The yamahas dominate here in NE. The 2 strokes are in demand. You can lay them on their back so it might be able to fit in the trunk. Also makes it easier to store in dock boxes.

I just upgraded to a 8 hp Yamaha and you can store it on either side or on its back. Awesome motor and 2 stroke is much more power.

thanks for the reply. I ordered a 2.5 today. weight was my bigest concern
