Alright, I thought it would be neat to have a collection of recent yacht photos. I am always amazed by the size of these things, so I usually pull my camera out and start taking pictures! I've only imagined what they look like inside.

I know the boating season is (almost) over for us in New England, so I'm hoping you all in the South can keep us going through the winter.

Anyway, it would be cool to have people most some pictures of the yachts they've encountered when on the water.

I guess I'll start with my recent sightings...

You should keep your eye out on the Travel channel. they have several shows they are running about Super Yachts with full video tours. simply amazing.

When I was a 23 yr old yacht broker in South Florida and FYBA member every third thursday there was an informal "broker's show". It was usually 5 or 6 boats from 100 to 150'. We would always end up hanging out on one of them after the show boozing. Good times.

197ft LINDA LOU , Aug. '09, near Middle Bass Island Lake Erie. Sorry for the little pic it was emailed to me that size by my buddy who took it.

Great shots everyone!

We saw John Henry's (owner of the Boston Red Sox) yacht, Iroquois in Boston Harbor at the Boston Harbor Hotel dock space! What a ship!

Those are some crazy yachts...we took these in the Boston Harbour...Some people have too much money...hey SRV400 is that blue ship Greg Normans?

A couple from Key West last Christmas. The dark one is the 150' Lady Linda (there was much discusion on the dock if it was Paul McCartny's). The second I don't have name or length but is the 150 range.

The big blue one is the "Octopus" owned my Paul Allen (Microsoft) and the "little ones" were just at the marina. These were taken on our cruise at the Island of Bonaire...

If you want to see some nice yachts and some pics of inside, check this website of available charter yachts. The prices are also listed which would scare you!

Wow. I used to wonder how the uber-rich could go bankrupt, always thinking that a critical mass could be reached where interest would out-pace spending. Now I see!

$460,000 per week rent-a-boats would do it nicely.

and here I am annoyed that marina gas has gone up $0.10 a gallon

They're pretty, but I don't want something so big I need a crew. I don't like other people staying on my boat.

I was in Nice about 7 weeks ago for work, took a day and went over to Monaco - bucket list item. Apparently I've misplaced the dozens of pictures I took - but I did find a couple. Truly amazing place to say the least...
