I've been messing with the GPS (I have no chartplotter) and got it to talk to the autopilot. It doesn't seem to like me putting in the year 2010. So I'm thinkin, would a new chartplotter talk to the autopilot or would it be like the Jettsons talking to the Flintstones? The two units I have actually work, but after reading about magnetic north and deviation and all that, I'm thinking chartplotter, is there a standard that I would need the chartplotter to have to talk to the old autopilot??
