I have a 2002 340 Sundancer with 2 30 Amp male receptacles in the trunk. There is only 1 slot on my docks shore power which is 30 Amp female. Is my proper adapter here a typical 30A Male to a double 30A female plug? And if so, can I use both lines without jeopardizing anything? For example can I put on my A/C (from line 2) and my microwave and or tv from line 1 --at the same time without causing any problems, while using this Y adapter? --Any advice would greatly be appreciated.

That will work but remember, you will only have a total of 30 Amps to work with. Could easily pop the breaker at the dock if operating too many things on board. You may want to investigate a 50 Amp to two 30 Amp. Pricey, but nice to have when you travel.

You will not use more than 20-25 amps most of the time, so the approach you suggest will be fine. You need to manage your power use. If the shower is on and the hot water heater is running, and the A/C is on in hot weather, and you run a coffee maker and microwave while doing these things, you will pop a breaker. Most of us don't operate this way. I routinely run the A/C, coffee maker and hot water heater and draw less than 30 amps. Look at your power panel gauges and figure out what draws what. Stay below 30 amps and you are good to go.
