When I turn on the stereo, it says ACCS. No matter what button I press it stays with ACCS. anybody know how to get rid of it. or what it means?

The receiver is trying to connect to something via the CD changer port. Press the "Func" button to switch back to the radio or internal CD. If that doesn't fix it and you have a CD changer, you might check to see if there for a blown fuse to the changer. If that is not the issue, then disconnect the CD changer cable (13-pin DIN connector) on the back of the receiver. If that fixes the problem, then you probably have a cable short or a failure in the CD changer. If you don't have anything connected to the CD changer port, then you probably have an internal problem and need to replace the receiver.

I'm pretty sure it's code for 'get a new one'. The XMD1 is dated at this point and you will find the marine head units are not expensive.
