Kind of pricey but would store easy. Wonder if they are safe for potable water?

Tons of bad reviews but I definitely will keep my eye out for the 'new and improved' version. Would be great to store in my anchor locker or line locker.

we as kids drank from the hose for years...I'm not dead yet :wink:

I love the idea and looked into it. Tons of internet complaints over cheap plastic fittings which break almost instantly. I might still buy one and see if I can clamp on some good quality brass fittings.

You likely drank from a rubber hose not a petroleum based hose of today.

Drinking from a flushed hose is unlikely to cause any serious issues, drinking water that sits in the hose overnight connected to your city water connection is a different story. Chemicals can and do leach into the water when it is not moving, thus the need for food grade hoses.

I bought a 25 and a 50 footer. They work as advertised but they came with a warning not to be used for a potable supply. But to date I love mine

I thought it would make a great travel wash down hose. A lot easier to store then the bulky white hoses...
